What Exactly Is a Consultation?

We often get asked what exactly constitutes a “consultation.” Typically, one of our attorneys, either by phone or live, will talk with a potential client about his or her case, gaining facts to make an initial judgment about what type of services the firm can offer you. This meeting before actually signing a contract is the consultation.
