James Hartley
Background and Education
James Hartley grew up in the Ocala area and graduated from Belleview High School. Mr. Hartley attended the University of Central Florida where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and then went on to the University of South Carolina where he received his law degree. Mr. Hartley married his high school sweetheart, Kaycie Hartley, in 2010. The two now reside in downtown Ocala with their two dogs, Champ and Steve. They are very active in the community and love supporting the arts.
Experience
Mr. Hartley primarily focuses his practice on Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, and Business law. After graduating law school, Mr. Hartley spent time as an Assistant Public Defender for the Fifth Circuit of Florida where he handled hundreds of cases in both the misdemeanor and felony divisions. During his time there he took many cases to trial and developed his skills in the courtroom. He brings his experience in the courtroom to McGraw, Rauba & Mutarelli and is ready to fight for his clients.
